Am I allowed to pick my own caregiver?

Yes, Access Care works diligently to match the best caregiver to each person. If you already have a caregiver in mind, we are able to hire them to assist you. However, caregivers cannot be family members.

Who will be taking care of my loved one?

At our day center, we assign our participants to an activity coordinator for personalized care throughout the day, supported by nurses, medical assistants, and certified nursing assistants – all CPR and first aid certified. In home, our caregivers are highly trained in CPR and first aid, with skilled training on each individual’s case.

Do you have transportation services?

Yes, Access Care has a fleet of buses and smaller vehicles to transport our participants to and from their homes and medical appointments.

Do you offer case management services?

Yes, we provide case management services emphasizing multicultural support in 13 languages. Inquiries can be directed to the Director of Case Management at (502) 883-3148.
